TOYO ITO

For this project, Pritzker Prize-winning architect Toyo Ito will be the subject of a study and a series of works that reflect the spirit of his design philosophy. His architectural style was influenced by the natural world, and he believed that spaces should allow people to establish close relationships with their surroundings by removing fixed barriers. I chose to express fluidity in response to this approach. To express openness, I used a dotted grid to represent fluidity, as the flow would also change the size of the application squares.

このプロジェクトでは、プリツカー賞を受賞した建築家、伊東豊雄さんを研究し、設計哲学の精神を反映した一連の作品を制作します。彼の建築スタイルは自然界から影響を受けており、空間は固定された障壁を取り除くことによって、人々が周囲と密接な関係を築けるようにすべきであると考えていました。そのアプローチに対し私は、流動性を表現することにしました。開放性を表現するために、私は点線のグリッドを使うことにし、流れによって、アプリケーションのマスのサイズも変化するため、流動性を表しました。
